Basics2Bylines - Helping WNY Writers Get Into Print is a literary group open to all writers who wish to share their written work for feedback and explore the publishing process in an ongoing group format.

One of the main objectives of this literary network is to help writers connect, by listing upcoming literary events and highlighting the accomplishments of our fellow writers, as well as sharing related on-line links that we feel will assist writers looking for additional information on the craft of writing and professional writing organizations.

After attending and then assisting with a series of writing workshops, Lynne found that she enjoyed getting together with other writers and hearing their works, as well as sharing her own. It seemed that a writer's group needed to be formed in the area, so she started a writers' group called "Basics 2 Bylines,"  She hopes to provide a network for writers, as well as offer tips and advice on getting published.

Lynne Wallace-Lee (Writers' Group Coordinator - Barnes & Noble - Amherst) is a freelance writer with college training in technical writing, including research and project organization and management. Her educational background is in international trade, French, and travel. Lynne specializes in humor, fiction, personal essays and viewpoints, and is currently writing her first fiction novel.
